A Tranquil and Treasured Place: Roxborough State Park
Just south of Denver is a beautiful park, complete with spectacular red rock formations, beautiful plant life, and magical views. If you live in the Denver area and have not visited this park, you’re missing out.
The approximately four-thousand acre park has a trail system for easy to moderate trekking, and loops that make sure you see more of the park than an out-and-back. Check out the Lyons Overlook and Fountain Valley Overlook for some great views.
Make sure you leave animals at home, though! No dogs or horses allowed.
