Guatemala and the Rio Dulce

I’m going to attempt to condense three days in the middle of the Guatemalan jungle into a brief story. Just know this: this experience was amazing. You know that feeling where you don’t imagine that what you’re living is real? Well it was like three days of that. And it was fantastic.

Starting from Punta Gorda, Belize, we traveled by boat into Livingston, Guatemala. The town is cut off from the rest of the country of Guatemala except by boat travel, and has a large population of Belizeans.
