Hiking in Golden Gate Canyon

So, we recently discovered that we live less than an hour from a pretty amazing state park full of the most amazing views of nature. Golden Gate State Park, located near Golden, Colorado, is about as Rocky Mountain-esque as a state park can be, and we couldn’t help but make our inaugural trip out while our friend Katie was visiting from Japan. Evergreens? Check. Late season snow? Check. Views for miles and miles? Of course.
