Hiking the South Mesa Trail

Wildflower season has been blowing my mind this year. On this Saturday hike, Anna and I explored the South Mesa Trail in the famous hills of Boulder, Colorado. We got there in the late morning, and the heat made this hike more difficult than it would normally be. (See the map below for proof of our very meager trip.) Even though the trip was quick, we had the chance to view some pretty spectacular wildflowers growing abundantly around us. Maybe next time we try this trail, we’ll get out a little earlier!

    • You looked down toward it last time you visited! From the amphitheatre up on the hillside! It was about 100 degrees outside when we went on that short hike, so maybe you could do it with us in the spring?
