This ancient Maya site feels exactly like walking through history. Despite the fact that most of the structures have crumbled and the jungle has begun to take back the land around it, you can imagine the way that the pyramids built by the Maya may have looked over a millennium ago.

Entrance fees are $10 BZ ($5 US) and it’s open year-round.
